by cindy on April 27, 2011

Did you know that you can get Redplum coupons by mail. Today I was looking for coupons that you could get in the mail and come across this information.

“Valassis prides itself on delivering valuable cost savings and advertisements (including grocery circulars) to the homes of consumers throughout the country. We also respect and understand the rights of consumers to accept or decline these mailings.

If you are not currently receiving the RedPlum Mail Package and would like to, or if you would prefer to stop the RedPlum Mail Package from being delivered to your address, please follow one of the steps listed below. Please note, your request will take five to six weeks from receipt to take effect and we cannot guarantee mail delivery to all addresses.”

Several months ago my area (Indianapolis) started recieving our RedPlum coupons via mail only. The newspaper does not have RedPlum inserts in it. I have never been happy with the change because I am not able to get more than one insert!

We get our grocery circulars from Marsh, and a whole bunch of other ads “wrapped” in a RP circular – usually local business coupons. No grocery coupons in it, not anything like the inserts found in Sunday papers. Just thought you might like to know…..

I have been receiving these Redplums in the mail (usually on Tuesdays) for the last 6 or 7 months. Initially I thought they were just a bunch of ads like Janelle commented above, but found the actual Redplum grocery ads mixed in. The coupons seem mostly the same as the Sunday inset, but I have found some variables in random weeks. I do like it, however, because I always have 2 sets of Redplum coupons for the weeks when I forget to buy an additional paper! Springboro, OH here FYI

I, too, am in the Indianapolis area and it took me a few months to realize that the Redplums that came in the mail where the same ones others were getting in their Sunday papers. I am fortunate in that my mother in law gives me her unused ones and my dad doesn’t use his. On a good week, that makes 3 inserts! And I know subscribe to the Sunday newspaper at about $1 a week. It’s easier for me because I was having a hard time getting to the dollar store to get one. Again, I get a second set from my mother in law. And I guess I could subscribe my dad to the newspaper as well, but, it wouldn’t be a good thing for him. Thanks HHC for all your good work!

You will not get the same type of grocery coupons that you see in the coupon inserts in the Sunday newspaper. What you are requesting is the “junk mailer” that just about every postal address in the US receives now and that is why they tell you on the Redplum site that they have most addresses already, but if you submit a request they will check to make sure they have your address. I wish it was the grocery coupons, but the only way to get them is to get them from the Sunday newspaper insert. Of course some of the Redplum coupons, but not all, are available to be printed out from home from the Redplum coupon website: http://www.redplum.com/

No we cannot Cindy. Never have they sent me any coupons by mail no matter how many times I signed up. It is obviously a scam
