Taking Advantage of Store Meat Specials Vlog!

by cindy on July 23, 2010

One of the things I do to save money on my grocery bill each week is to take advantage of store Meat Specials. I was not planing on buying pork loin this trip but the price was only $1.39 lb. It was just to good of a deal to pass up.

I thought it would be fun to share with you in a vlog what I did with that pork lion.

I would like to thank my son Josh for editing the video and Miriah for her help in the Kitchen.

Thank you so much for another vlog. I never even thought of going to my stores butcher or meat department manager to ask them to cut up a whole roast. This was a reason I never bought a whole roast. Great tip!

Thanks, I really like doing the vlogs. My mother-in-law told me about having the butcher slice the meat for me. I used to pay about $4-$5 lb. for boneless chops. Now I never pay more than $1.99 lb. for them. The truth is I try to stay under $2 lb. for meat unless I want a steak once in a while.

I was at the store and they had pork roast on sale. My problem is I don’t know what to ask for or what the possibilities could be with this type of meat.
