I would also ask at the customer service desk what the policy on the coupons that say “do not double” is. I have found that some cashiers are just not coupon friendly and purposely do things like this when it isn’t necessarily the stores policy.

I can’t remember how it happened, but I had this happen to me and just happen to have stopped at the customer service desk about another problem. The worker brought it to my attention and stated she wasn’t sure why the cashier did that and refunded all the differences to me and I never even inquired about it. I never had this problem again, but I never visit that cashier again either.

For the most part, Meijers has always been really good to me when it comes to my coupons. A few of the cashiers have even asked me about my deals and I always stay friendly and direct them to the websites I use.

I’m in Indianapolis, IN and our Meijer always doubles those coupons that specifically say “Do Not Double”. That has always surprised me that they do that, however, I’m not complaining. Thanks for the deals!!

Cindy, my Meijer (on 741) won’t allow coupons that say “do not double” to double. They will enter them manually to stop it from doubling. Which Meijer do you shop at and do you encounter this problem? Would it be good time to use the self checkout?

This is definitely a YMMV, but Meijer has the Scrubbing Bubbles Power Sprayer listed in their ad as on sale for $3.49. There was a $3 off coupon in the paper sometime within the last few weeks (sorry, don’t have the exact date!). When I got mine, it was still ringing up $8.99, but I took it to customer service and since they were listed in the ad, I got them for the sale price. Using the $3 off coupons, I got 4 of them for $3.01. There is also supposed to be a catalina for buy 4, get $4 onyo but it didn’t print out for me. I figured getting $36 of Scrubbing Bubbles for $3 was good enough!

Cindy, There is a SUPER deal to be had…CUB has a 3.00 manufacturer coupon in their ad…it’s a $3/6 of certain items. Well, the BAGEL BITES are on there! I am planning on using this coupon at Meijer w/their Bagel Bites deal…part of the 11/10.00!! It makes them 45 CENTS each when you buy 12 and use 2 coupons!! Woohoo! ; )
