Thanks to Jobeth and Christine for sharing these great deals.
“The cereal deal at Cub this week rocks! First I bought the 4 Betty Crocker fruit snacks that are 4/$8 then the $4 are taken off at the register making them 4/$4. With coupons you can get 4 boxes for 2$ and a 2.50$ OYNO prints out. $.50 overage! The cereal is also 4/$8 with an additional $4 taken off at checkout. With all the GM cereal coupons out there, this means free or 1$ per box! I just got 4boxes fruit roll ups and 12 boxes of cereal for $3″ JoBeth
“I don’t usually go there but this week cub food has select general mills cereal for 4/$8 and then a promotion that another $4 dollars will be taken off at the register. So the cereal ends up $1 a box (no limit printed on the flyer). If people still have the recent internet coupons for $1 off a box they are free. I got a few regular cheerios, unfortunately the multigrain cheerios were sold out (which I had 10 coupons for!!). Other types were included that they still had in stock I believe.” Christine

The Cub Foods I normally go to set the limit at 12 boxes per person. They were out of the multi-grain Cheerios so I thought I would try another Cub, considering I had plenty more coupons. THAT one has the limit at four boxes per person—I had 12 boxes (8 cereal and four fruit snacks) and the register took off the $4 three times, as well as my coupons, but then it required manager approval and the manager came over and insisted that one person could only buy 4 boxes. Go figure. So I just bought the fruit snacks and don’t think I’ll go back there ever again (she wasn’t very nice about it). So you might want to check with your local Cub if you plan to do this deal and want more than four boxes. Apparently they each have their own policy.
Cub Foods also has the Kraft Macaroni and Cheese for 3/$1! I bought 10 boxes and used (2) $1/5 coupons bringing it to .13/box.
Does anyone know if Chocolate Cheerios is included in the deal at Cubs?
Chocolate Cheerios are NOT included. I tried them to see! I wanted to add that when you purchase 4 of the cereals, a $2 off 5 GM cereals catalina comes out. I got two of them this morning with two different transactions and another one when I went back this afternoon. So, I picked up 5 boxes, used my coupons and the $2 catalina for the 5th box. I am so excited about the deals I got today!
The Cub on 741 is out of Chex and Multigrain Cheerios for now. I’m holding on to my coupons until later in the week when they’ll hopefully get more in.
Carrie—they do now have a few of the multigrain cheerios (which was a relief to me because my coupons expire today!) but no Reese’s Puffs and I did not see Chex. My cashier would not let the register double the cereal coupons or the fruit snack coupons—it is still a good deal though. Just be forewarned that the cashiers may have been told not to double the coupons.
I was told by the Cubs on Wilmington Pike that it was limited to 4 boxes at a time. They’ve never doubled coupons that say “Do Not Double” on them. Otherwise they are supposed to. Wilmington Pike had plenty of everything yesterday. Seems like Cubs has a lot of good deals this week…Cindy are you planning on doing a coupon match for us??
Sara for some reason I have not been getting a Cub ad in my paper. I am not sure why.
I love the deals you guys are getting this week at Cubs. It is a great stock up week.
I had a GREAT trip to Cub this morning/yesterday! Check out my blog post about it!
