I have many readers ask what they can do if their catalina did not print.
First of all you need to make sure you bought the items that were part of the promotion during the dates the promotion was running. Many catalinas also have size and quanty requirments as well. If you in fact met all the requirements and your catalinas did not print you can send them an e-mail at coupon@catalinamarketing.com.
You will need to provide the following information:
- Your e-mail address.
- Time and date that you shopped.
- The store name and address.
- What offer you were expecting to receive.
They will e-mail you back a response. If you would perfer to call the phone # is 1-888-322-3814. You will need to ask for customer service.

At Meijer the self scans do not always print off the catalina for some reason. Before using one check for any red lights on the machine- this means it’s not working to begin with. Then if you don’t receive your catalina try telling the service desk. They may try either redoing your order or they have a “custom coupon” form they can fill out for you. I did this on the BC potatoes deal a few days ago. Of course, this will vary depending on the employee you speak to and the store (some employees may not be aware of the form, some stores may not use them). I hope this helps.
At Meijer, also check to make sure the light is NOT green AND blinking – that means the machine in jammed. I had a HUGE order at Meijer last week, and bought everything necessary, but nothing printed. The cashier told me it meant I didn’t get any, since they didn’t print out. I knew that wasn’t correct, and went to the service desk. They hand wrote a custom coupon as Dar mentioned, however, I had to tell him every catalina that I had earned. So be sure to write down each deal you were taking advantage of, in advance, or even deals you find in the store you didn’t know about – just in case! (The service manager told me if the cashier had called for help BEFORE I paid and my order was closed, they could have been retrieved). I will check the light before paying next time!
Do you know if there is an overall print limit on catalina deals, as there is on some coupons?
Do you know if you contact catalina do they in turn contact the store?
I do not think so. You just need to do separate orders.
I just received my second reply from e-mailing catalina. I had a hard time
finding the correct form the first time, so they responded telling me what I needed. They told me they would be honoring my request. They did not
say how, I am assuming by mail. It may take a few weeks. I will let you know if and when I receive something. Usually I go to the service desk or sometimes the cashier just takes it off my order but if I am in a hurry or don’t have proof
of the catalina deal this is a good last resort. I have no idea if they contact the store, but they do ask for the store # and date and time shopped, and your total.
They could verify your shopping trip by looking for data that matches your
information. Stores or companies can look up anything with computers now.
