I just started couponing at the beginning of the year. I chose to file my coupons by week in a hanging file box. However, the second week I knew there was a coupon I wanted from the first week but I wasn’t sure where it was (there were 3 inserts & I bought 3 copies of the paper). I had to go through all the inserts. So I decided to make a list on my computer; I print & carry it in my box & cross the coupons off as I use them. If I have multiple copies I write how many are left. This makes finding specific coupons really easy!
