Cindy – I would love to win the Kroger gift card. I save boxtops for my son’s school. Each month the school holds a drawing to see which class has collected the most. He hasn’t won (yet), but I know this is for a good cause.

I have been saving box tops for 6 years. I currently have 230 in my cabinet and I am hoping my son’s class has a contest soon so I can unload them. There are tons of schools that participate, and you chose the one you want to support via their website. Although I signed up for the rewardyourschool program about a month ago, the bonus box tops must go directly to the school!
They have tons of give aways of box tops regularly. I cant imagine throwing them away… even if your kids arent in school. Although I am guilty of throwing some of the other label programs out occasionally.

I am very active in my boys school with the PTO and our school has recived LOTS of nice things from saving box tops! its so simple and a habit for all our of family, just few weeks back while visiting a friend one of my boys noticed in the trash a box (from brownies i think) and said who threw the money away? the family had no idea to save them…(with no children in the house) NOW they save them for our school…! now my sons motto is one family at a time to help save tops!!!!!

I always tell people who don’t cut them off products that it is .10 that they are throwing away. Then I ask them if they throw away pop cans too! Most have never looked at it that way.
