My First Coupon Class of 2010!

by cindy on January 15, 2010

I wanted to thank all of the wonderful ladies of Cross View Christian Church for attending last night’s coupon class. I had such a great time sharing my techniques with all of you. I hope my blog will be a helpful tool for you to learn how to play the coupon game.

I provide weekly coupon match-ups for Kroger, Meijer, Target, CVS, Walgreens, and Rite Aid. You will find links to these deals in my top navigation bar. I try to have the Drug stores deals posted by Saturday evening or early Sunday and local grocery store deals by Sunday evening.

I have also started a series called Learn To Be A Couponista. Many of  you may still have questions about couponing. I hope most of them will be answered in this series.  With some time and effort you will also become a Couponista.

You can get my updates by email and never miss a deal. Click here to subscribe.

Here are a few photo’s from last night’s class.

New couponista’s, here are a few things I recommend to help you get started.

1. Set up a separate email account just for couponing.

2. Subscribe to the Sunday Paper.

3. Set up your printer to print coupons from the following sites.

4. Set up accounts for the following eCoupon sites

5. Read from the following Coupon 101 posts and watch my videos.

6. Take your time and ask questions in the comments.  If I can not answer the question right away the followers of this site are very helpful and sometimes answer for me. Without them this site would not be what it is today.

I would also like to thank everyone who takes the time to read my site.  You have made my dream come true. I love what I do and can not wait to see what the future holds.

Best Wishes to all of you new couponista’s.  Now lets start saving some money!

Thank you so much for last night. I will tell you my husband has been doing the grocery shopping in our house for the past few months. He was never a coupon man until he realized the savings with alittle effort. I already brag on him that he can shop and feed our family of 5 weekly for less than $100 (he loves the challenges and the deals). But NOW I can’t wait to show him all of your techniques to see how much more he will save. THANK YOU!

I shared this post with my Facebook friends. Great steps for getting started. People really need it laid out simple because it can seem so overwhelming. I already know what I’m doing but I depend on people like you and my friends at Couponallies.com (northeast Ohio) to tell me where the deals are!

Great job!

Tracy, Thank you for sharing my post with your friends. I love teaching couponing. I really want people to be able to find there own deals and learn the game. It is not hard once you understand how it all works.
