I wanted to share with you my Meijer shopping trip. I hope that showing you this will help inspire and teach you how to do the same. Anyone can do this. It just takes changing the way you grocery shop.
My main stock up item this week was cheese. I was able to get everything you see in the photo for $17.30 after sales and coupons I saved $40.90!
Here is how I did it.
1st Transaction:
16 packages of cheese on sale for $1.49- used (8) $1/2 printable coupons here
4 packages of cream cheese -used (2) $.55/2 printable here
2 dozen eggs on sale for $.75 – B1G1 Free coupon no longer available
2 Lunchables on sale for $1 -used (2) $.55 printable here = Free!
2 Tyson Boxed chicken patties on sale for $2.50 -used (2) $.55 in10-11-09 SS insert
2nd Transaction:
2 Lunchables on sale for $1 -used (2) $.55 printable here = Free!
Remember the $5/$25 Meijer coupon I posted about here. I used that before all my other coupons to get a lower OOP cost.
Grand Total = $17.30! (Yes, I am doing the Happy Dance!)
*Note: I had to do a separate order because Meijer will only double 2 alike coupons.

how did you use 8 cheese coupons on the first order? i need to stock up on this too, but thought it was only two alike? thanks for your help!
Great job! Does your Meijer double 55 cent coupons? Mine only doubles up to 50 cents. I’m jealous!
What do you do with all the cheese? Do you keep it in the freezer? I have shredded cheese and frozen it before, but never block cheese-not sure how that would work. It’s just me and my husband and we don’t go through cheese that fast, but WOW what a great deal.
Yes, I freeze cheese even the block cheese. It works just fine. I treat it the same as the shredded.
Rebecca,
These are $1/2 on the Cheese coupons. Remember Meijer only doubles up to $1. So, if your coupon is $1 use as many as you want. If the coupon is under $1 then you want to do more than one order.
thank you!
