Okay, I am not one for posting these type of deals but I thought I would go ahead and share with those of you who would like to try it since I got a few emails about it. I can not guarantee this idea will work so YMMV!

Here is the deal idea:

Toy R Us is having a door buster sale on Friday and Sat. They are selling the Leapfrog Alphabet  for $10.49.

Target does price matches and also has a $10 off store coupon available here.

Math $10.49 – $10 coupon = $.49!

*Note you need a copy of the Toy R Us ad for this deal to work.

If you need the Target price matching policy it is located here. I would suggest you print the policy and take it with you.

Thanks, MoJo Savings!

Target will not honor “door buster” or 50 % off ads. This is according to their Guest Relations…Target sucks. I hope someone is able to get the toy but who knows?

They would not let me do it. However, I took in the policy that I printed online, and it did not say no doorbusters or 50% off on the list of exclusions. The girl still wouldn’t do it, but she said that I could email corporate and explain this and they may credit me for the difference, so I bought the toy anyway with the $10 coupon. That still made it 50% off, and I am going to email and see what happens

THANKS! I bought 11 of them today at 3 different Targets and it worked fine!! P.S. It is a corporate policy to match prices, and ALL Targets are corporate, I Know I used to run one. And the policy says nothing about door busters, so sorry to those of you who had trouble. It is a newer policy, so some of the staff members do not know how it works. You just have to know who to ask for. Thanks again.

WOW! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I was able to get this toy and Target matched the price and then honored the $10 off coupon. This was amazing. Please continue to post these. :)
