I am new to your website and couponing. I am not familiar with what 10 Item Mega Event MAtch-up is. Can you explain. Thanks!

Valerie October 26, 2009 at 2:32 pm

Question. I see the deal for the delmonte canned tomatoes. They are priced at .99 and if I use the $1/5 coupon how does the price come to .29 per can? Thanks for your help.

cindy October 26, 2009 at 2:40 pm

Valerie, I am listing the final price you would pay after Mega Event Discount and coupon. You would need to buy 10 items mix or match to receive $.50 off each item. I hope that helps.

Becky October 26, 2009 at 4:15 pm

The pancake mix is $1.49 with the sale with the coupon I paid $.49!

Karla Scott October 26, 2009 at 6:26 pm

On the cans of dog food you have that we would use 2 B1G1 coupon and then 5cents as the total. I don’t quite follow. Can you explain how that would work?
Thank You for all your help!

Thank-you!

cindy October 26, 2009 at 7:05 pm

2 cans for every coupon. Math $1.10 each = $2.20 – $1.10 (B1G1 Free MQ) – $1 Mega event sale=$.10/2 or $.05 each!

Karla Scott October 26, 2009 at 7:13 pm

Thank you! Wow thass really makes it cheap!

Thanks for your help!! There are so many awesome deals this week at Kroger. Thanks for helping us find them!!!

cindy October 26, 2009 at 8:05 pm

I know! Look out Kroger here we come! I love this sale.

Heidi October 26, 2009 at 9:10 pm

Is there any limit to how many “10 items” we can do in a transaction? Thank you for providing this match up! I especially love the printable option. I print it out and highlight and mark the ones I’m going to take advantage of. Thanks for all your time!

Kristi October 26, 2009 at 9:15 pm

Never mind my previous post. Got the ad and now I see.

Celia Emmons October 26, 2009 at 11:14 pm

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! That had to take some time!

TC October 27, 2009 at 12:18 am

Cindy,
I’ve tried several times to print the coupon for the Bumble Bee Tuna to no avail. I have looked & looked at all the coupons listed but still can’t find it. What am I doing wrong or where should I be looking. I’m desperately trying to get this coupon. (For Kroger)

Thank you,

TC

JoBeth October 27, 2009 at 11:33 am

Thanks for all the time you spent on the match-ups this week. I just hit Kroger and saved 62%. It would have been more but I had lots of non-negotiables this week! Either way, I walked out with a trunk full of groceries for very little money!

Heather M October 27, 2009 at 3:28 pm

What zip code did you use for the Zatarain’s coupon in the RedPlum printables? I don’t see it and wonder if I plugged in a different zip if it would show.
Also, for anyone having problems printing, sometimes it is a firefox issue. If you see a ‘vi’ or ‘vg’ in the web address line when you push the print button and it doesn’t work, replace the ‘vi/vg’ with ‘wg’ and then try to print. It has always worked for me!

Laura Hills October 27, 2009 at 8:46 pm

I went to Kroger tonight thinking that the Duncan Hines cake mix was included in the Mega Event. I didn’t realize until I got home that I only bought 18 “participating items” since the Duncan Hines were not included. I called customer service and they said that I could bring my receipt in, grab two items and still get my $5.00 off! That is pretty awesome! I’m heading back tomorrow!

cindy October 27, 2009 at 9:34 pm

Laura, I am so glad CS is going to help you with that. I had that happen to me the last time I did the mega event but it was because a cashier missed scanning an item. I had it fixed before I left and had to pull open all my bags so they could count them but it all worked out.

cindy October 27, 2009 at 9:37 pm

Heather, Thanks for telling everyone about the codes for IE and FF. I keep meaning to write a post but there is just not enough hours in a day.

Heather M October 27, 2009 at 10:40 pm

Oh, and make sure you all visit the Campbell’s labels for education website (www.labelsforeducation.com) and set up your Dillon’s card to donate moolah to your neighborhood school. There are a lot of Campbell’s products in the Mega Event.

Natalie October 28, 2009 at 11:00 am

Cindy,
Do you know if there is a limit to the 10 item mega event? ie: Can I buy 30 items and get $15 off?

Joy October 28, 2009 at 9:40 pm

You have been a busy girl this week, Cindy! Whew!

Holly and I are headed to Kroger in the morning. We are going to have bagfuls!!! For just about $35. : ) I’m almost giddy over it!

LOLO October 30, 2009 at 3:05 am

wanted to add to your finds. you can go here to play a game to win coupons (and other stuff if you are lucky) for .50 off of beef. Kroger is one of the stores so you choose that as your store and print PDF coupons for some savings on the ground beef you have listed. My store doubles so it would be $1 off. Buy a small package at a time and you can score some cheap ground beef. http://www.dinnern20.com/pages/RegPage.html use this code for your game piece A23568. Enjoy!

LOLO October 30, 2009 at 3:23 am

Natalie,
I do not know this for sure for Kroger’s as mine is a Ralph’s (kroger affiliate), but when I went the other day my ad said a limit of 10 deals. So I wanted to make sure I could buy 10 of the 10 mega deals and in fact that is the case. So technically you can buy up to 100 items and get up to $50 off. So to answer your question, yes you can buy 30 items and get $15 off. HTH!

Mere October 30, 2009 at 10:35 am

THANK YOU!!! I found so many deals on your list that weren’t in the ad and you saved me $148 yesterday at Krogers!!!!! I know this took a ton of time, I really appreciate all of your effort :) Great job!
