by cindy on June 8, 2009

Kmart is doing Super Double coupons again this week. My blogging buddy Shannon has compiled a list of the Best Deals. Click here to view the list.

*Note the limit is 10 coupons per day. Maybe the store will not be wiped out this time. LOL!

How do the BOGO deals work? The store's deal is BOGO but there's a coupon on the bag that says BOGO (the candy deal) How can I get them both for free? Don't I have to pay for one? Or – if my coupon is my payment then wouldn't I get two free? One for the store's deal and one for the coupon's deal? But I guess if the coupon only paid for one, I could only take one? Could you help explain this? I know there are other BOGO deals that work this way too and I'd just like to understand it better. Thanks!

Great Question. I will post your question. I tell you what I know about how this works. Many readers also may have the same question.

Thanks a bunch! I look forward to it.

I'm putting together my list tonight. I'm excited that K-Mart is doing the super doubles and that Meijers is having their 10 for 10 week.

My best deal last week was free dial hand soap. Krogers had it marked at their 10/10 deal (I really hope I didn't have to buy 10 to get it for $1 and I had a coupon that doubled to $1. At most, I paid .78 for it if I had to buy a total of 10 items for it to be $1 each. I guess I should check my reciept! haha.

Thanks, Cindy

I just wanted to let you know that when a store has a 10 for $10 item deal you do not have to buy all 10 items to get the $1 price. This is a marketing trick to get you to buy more. The only time I make sure I have 10 items is when they give the 11th for Free or dollars off. For example buy 4 get $3 off at the register.

Oh good. I knew that to be true of Meijers but I wasn't sure about Kroger. So, I did get my Dial for FREE! Yippee!

Thanks!

I wish I had a Kmart close that was honoring the double coupon deal. :-(

Visited Kmart in Springboro tonight. Here's what I found:

Edge is almost sold out. And yes – it works out to be FREE. Got 2.

Clorox with peelies are sold out.

Bic Soleil razors are almost sold out, check bin below where the razors hang. They're on sale for $5.49 at this store, not $3.99 to $4.99 as posted. Still, $1.49 after a $2 doubled coupon isn't bad.

Bandaids are $5/2 sale but I only had a .50/1 coupon so I passed them up. This sale does NOT include the little kid bandaids with pictures on them – just the variety of fleshy colored ones.

Kashi granola bars are $3.99 regularly priced. Too bad they weren't on sale, but I went ahead and got them for $1 each with my two $1.50/1 printables. Not bad.

And the purpose of my trip – Starbucks Coffee for $1.49. That is sold out. ($4.49 clearance – 1.50 doubled to $3 coupon = $1.49) Regularly priced Starbucks Coffee is $8.99. I passed this up for now.

And little kids pj's are 40% off. I got my two some summer pj's with my savings. -smile-

Oh – I checked on Country Time Lemonade and their regular price is $3.79. Way not worth it, even with a doubled $1.50/2 coupon. In my opinion anyway. Not when I know Cindy got them for a quarter! Where was that again? hmmmm….

Alrighty – bedtime for me. Happy shopping! I'd love to hear if anyone really snagged any other bargains at Kmart. I've been home a lot this week so my computer's been busy! I'm potty training my little girl. She's doing much better than the day before! We'll see. I'm glad for that Target Pull-up deal next week. : )

Joey77, I have $3 pull-up printables. I do not need them. I printed them for you. Let me know if you want them.

Joie77 June 12, 2009 at 10:28 am

Yes, I'll take them. Thank you!

Even if she gets this potty training thing soon she'll still need some pull-ups at night and when we got out maybe.

Wednesday was a terrible day for that – I think she and I were in the bathroom 15 times that day and all but two times she was soaked! I don't know where it was all coming from!

Today is much better. She even kept herself dry at the park and used its potty twice! : )

Thanks!
